Compact 100 and compact 200 (alias: HD200, CB200, ZB200) Bailey Bridge (domestic scientific name: prefabricated highway steel bridge) are the main products of the company, with a complete set of Bridge accessories production line, the annual output of nearly 10,000 tons.
Standardized Prefabricated Bridge
In addition to Bailey Bridge, the Great Wall Heavy Industry and experts from the design Institute of China Ministry of Communications jointly developed a large-span and large-load prefabricated steel bridge, named D-shaped bridge, and a single span can reach 90 meters, making up for the shortcomings of Bailey Bridge in terms of length and load, and filling the gap of standardized production of a large-span steel bridge. Great Wall Heavy Industry has completed the production and test of the D-type bridge, has been used in the actual project, and passed the acceptance smoothly.
Bailey Bridge Application
Prefabricated steel bridge has a great development trend in China, and was finalized and produced in 1965. In the early stage, Bailey Bridge was mainly used in the military, that is, the military steel bridge. Nowadays, the bailey bridge has been widely used in rescue, traffic safety facilities, municipal road engineering, water conservancy, and hydropower engineering, old bridge engineering reinforcement, etc., in addition to being used as a steel bridge for combat readiness training. For example, during the natural disaster of May 12, 2008, many Bailey Bridges were used for rescue and relief. Bailey Bridges have great advantages in rescue and relief supplies, evacuation of the injured, and evacuation of the masses.
