Kestar factory was founded in 1984, covering an area of 35,000 square meters, specializing in designing and producing Metal Oxide Varistors (MOVs) and Surge Protective Devices (SPDs). There are 150 employees (including 30 engineers), who can turn out 400 million pcs of MOVs and 1.8 million pcs of SPDs per year.

Holding UL Certificate for Many Product Series
We can produce varistor components with diameters of 5D, 7D, 10D, 14D, 14S (square shape of 20D, 20S, 25D, 25S, 32D, 34S, 40D, 53D, 60D, 80D, or up to 100D). Our UL certificate E328106 complies with the 4th edition of the UL1449 standard. It is the newest edition which has been effective since 2016. This UL certificate is available for the following series of products:

• MYG Series (General Series)
• MYH Series (High-performance Series)
• MYL Series (Lightning Protection Series)
• MYE Series (High Duty Series)
• MYP Series (High Energy Disc Varistor Series)
• PA Series (Reliable Installation Series)
• SPD series for Low Power Distribution System
