Dry Cell and Storage Battery Joint Stock Company (PINACO) was founded in 1976 and became a public company in 2004 with a 51% share owned by the Vietnam Government. We are now a leading battery manufacturer in Vietnam, with our head office located in Ho Chi Minh and two branches in Hanoi and Da Nang. Our four main production facilities employ over 1,300 staff who work on an extensive range of storage and dry cell batteries, which are exported to more than 35 countries and regions worldwide including the Middle East, Africa, Malaysia, Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, Indonesia, Brunei, Hong Kong, Lebanon, Sri Lanka, Bolivia, and Vanuatu.

Our facilities and processes have achieved ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO/IEC 17025, and ISO 14001 certifications to ensure a continuous improvement in quality and efficiency, as well as managing our impact on the environment. We have also been awarded Ford Q1 Certification - the highest award for suppliers of Ford Motor Company, and global recognition that suppliers have achieved a high level of performance in quality, production, management capacity, and customer satisfaction.
Products Application
Our lead-acid batteries are developed under the brand names Dongnai and JP and are manufactured with advanced technology from top equipment suppliers in Germany, the USA, and South Korea. Our batteries always ensure world-class performance with high capacity and long life and meet international IEC and JIS standards. Specific battery types include dry-charged batteries, complete maintenance-free (CMF) batteries, hybrid batteries, VRLA batteries, and deep cycle batteries – which are designed for a variety of applications like automobiles, motorcycles, marine vehicles, golf carts, electric forklifts, electric scooters, UPS, lighting and more.

Our storage batteries have achieved around 40% share of the domestic market share, while the export has grown to approximately 20% of sales, and we are also an OEM supplier of famous automotive and motorbike manufacturers such as Ford, Suzuki, Mercedes-Benz, Thaco, Honda, Hyundai Vinamotor, Vina Mazda, KIA Motor, Mekong Auto, Samco, Piaggio, and Yamaha.
